A new boutique hotel has popped up in New York’s midtown. The Pod is a stylish place to put up your out of town guests on a budget. Besides their stylish lobby lounge, world-class restaurant, and a beautiful rooftop garden bar, some their finer offerings include flat screen TVs, iPod docking stations, designer furniture, and free WiFi. Plus, they have a seemingly endless variety of room types – they even have bunk beds!
Basic rates range from $99 for a shared-bathroom Single, up to $199 for a bathroomed "Double Double" or Queen.

I stayed here in ‘06. Pretty nice place with cool design. Clean, stylish, affordable.
