Amazon Launches DRM-Free MP3 Site

By Piers Fawkes on September 25, 2007

Engadget alert us to news that Amazon have launched an MP3 site called Amazon MP3. The site will feature about two million DRM free songs from 180,000 artists. Tracks will cost between 89 and 99 cents. Pretty big news especially if you think about the Associates affiliate system that Amazon runs and bloggers use. By sharing the spoils with influencers like bloggers, will Amazon MP3 help music sales improve?
