At least no live models or physical items of clothing….Target will stage a preview of it’s fall and winter fashions next Tuesday and Wednesday (Nov 6&7) at Grand Central Terminal in NYC. The retailer plans to use a two dimensional projection system that will create the illusion of a three dimensional image. Apparently clothing and accessories will appear to float down a virtual runway. The general public can catch the show every ten minutes.

I have seen video of this event and I have to say that I am not impressed. Diesel and Alexander Mcqueen pulled similar specticles off in the past and with much better results. I think if you are going to attempt something like this you need to balls to the walls and do not hold back on the creative possibilities of said technology.

Bryan – Curious what left you nonplussed by this effort. Not in NYC and wondered what was lame about it from your POV – thanks….
