How To Improve Life For Everyone

“What can we do now to move the human race forward on an extremely long term basis?”

That was the question posed to the hive mind over at Ask Metafilter the other day. Important thinking, really big question. A lot of interesting ideas came out in response to the query. Answers were wide ranging: have more children, have less children, stockpile the world’s knowledge, support the space program, become a teacher, and so on.

The thread is absolutely worth a read. Long term, big picture questions like this one can really be a cataylst in getting the creative juices flowing.
