We’re excited to have Rob Campbell, Managing Partner / Creative Brand Strategist of Sunshine Asia, joining us in Singapore at PSFK Conference Asia to discuss “How Creativity Liberates Business”. We asked him to share a little bit about himself with us.
First, who are you and what do you do?
I’m paid to meet, learn and debate with the World’s weird and wonderful as well as collaborate with brilliant [and the odd not-so brilliant, ha!] people and companies.
I have no idea how I got so lucky because I’m from Nottingham, played guitar for some of the worst popstars of the 80’s and wear clothes best suited to a 14 year old boy.
From 1978.
You’ll be speaking about “How Creativity Liberates Business.” In one paragraph, can you give an idea of what the PSFK audience should expect to learn from you and your talk?
I believe my job is at the creative end of commerce [rather than the commercial end of creativity] however whilst I want to make my clients hideously successful, I want to do it in ways that also benefit people, society and culture.
I am an opinionated sod – especially against lowest-common-denominator thinking/doing – which is possibly why I get invited to speak at quite a few conferences, however this isn’t a soap box for personal publicity, it’s what I truly believe, but then if you had my parents, you’d understand why.
Five sites that provide you with inspiration:
[To be honest, there's tons more but I'll stick to the brief. For once.]
