Improv Everywhere Style Google Street View Hacking

Street With A View is a performance project that injects fiction and fun into the world of Google Street View. On May 3, 2008, a group of artists worked with the Google Street View team to create a spectacle along Sampsonia Way in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A ticker tape parade with a marching band, a marathon, sword fight and more were all staged with the help of neighborhood residents. Google’s 360-degree cameras captured all the mayhem, and the scenes are now live on Street View. According to the Street With A View website, this marks the first ever artistic intervention ever in Google Street View. Check out the making of video below.
