Birds By Penttinen
Back in 1972, Iittala launched their ‘Birds’ range with a collection of Flycatchers by Olva Troikka. Four decades later, Finnish designer Anu Penttinen was asked to develop the latest collection for the glassware company. Inspired by the world of cartoons and comic books, these beautiful birds go by the names of Ippy the Hippie, Cool Joe, I´m all Bananas, Cottoncandy, Nightbird and Snowball.
