Creating Spatial Barriers With Electronics

How do electronic devices create temporary invisible spaces and modify behavior in their presence? Choy Ka Fai from RCA Design Interactions has filmed a video that demonstrates how the use of cameras in public spaces create spatial barriers between camera and subject which can be seen as impassable by passersby.

A simple device made of laser pointers outlines the camera’s field of view in the video below.
