(Video) Project Cold Feet: Biofeedback Wedding Bouquet

By Dan Gould on January 14, 2010

Sharing a love of biometrics and “geekery”, the couple that makes up GeekPhysical have whipped up a bridal bouquet that displays the bride’s emotional state. Fiber optics in the bouquet glow blue if the bride is relaxed, and white if she’s excited. A ring-based sensor measures galvanic skin response to determine bouquet color, and both partners heat rates are measured as well. An infrared proximity sensor also registers how many times during the wedding day the bride and groom are side by side or apart.
