BeAware Mobile Platform For Home Energy Management
BeAware is developing a comprehensive home energy monitoring platform in two pilot locations in Finland and Italy. We have seen various emerging concepts for home energy awareness through mobile smartphones; the BeAware Energy Life system has developed a model for controlling home devices and appliances directly through the manipulation of interconnected electrical outlets. The system also communicates with the user, providing feedback through intuitive changes in lighting when energy usage approaches set quotas.
