Where We Work: Creative Space From Around The World
Former PSFK writer Ian McCallam, is well known for This Ain’t No Disco, his blog showcasing the most creative workspaces and environments around the world. For the better part of 2009, McCallam continued to document these offices, which resulted in his book, Where We Work: Creative Office Spaces. McCallam says:
I was fortunate enough to have visited several ad agencies in the UK and Europe. For a large portion of these I admired their interior design, and for many I was simply amazed at the level they had gone to furnish their agency to truly promote their take on creativity – instilling confidence in potential clients from the moment they entered the building.
I started to gather photographs for some of these agencies as I knew that not only would other agency people be interested in viewing the work environments of agencies around the world, but so too would other people with a touch of curiosity.
The book features forty-five of the world’s most extravagant and inspiring work environments from internationally acclaimed and recognized agencies within the advertising, media and design industries. Beyond the captivating imagery, the book provides a close look at the thinking and direction behind each space and the resulting creative work inspired within its interiors.
