Copywriter Alec Brownstein took an unusual approach in his search for a job at a New York ad agency.

Brownstein took out a group of $6.00 Google ads that used the names of top creative directors he was looking to work with. When they Googled their name, a targeted ad popped up that was a pitch for his services.
