Project Natal Launched As Microsoft Kinect
After previewing the gesture recognition technology for their XBox game system for almost a year now, Microsoft has officially launched their ‘Project Natal’. The Kinect system was officially announced during a E3 games industry event and promises game play controlled by natural movement.
When it launches in November, the Kinect system will come with three cameras to watch a user’s body movements plus a microphone to respond to their voice commands. This video shows the product at work:
