Roommates Wanted NYC is a new public event service in New York City where people looking for roommates can meetup in a group environment. Unlike similar sections on Craigslist where people can hide behind the anonymity of the Internet, Roommates Wanted gives people a chance to have a safe, in-person interaction with potential roommates in public events at bars, with discounted drinks thrown in, to help them fill-in their empty sublets or get an apartment together or simply share information on the housing search.

The service hosts parties for singles looking for roommates on 2nd and 3rd Sundays of every month.
