Rahim Bhimani's innovative sports bag promises to solve a stinky problem of pro-athletes.

The Ultraviolet Sports Pack by industrial designer Rahim Bhimani aims to solve a big problem faced by pro athletes-the odor of their shoes after a strenuous game. Bhimani’s creation uses the power of UV light to kill bacteria and eliminate odor from athletes’ shoes by inserting two UV hubs in each shoe and packing them in an athletic bag. The zipping of the bag, when the metal zipper reaches a contact point, triggers the ultraviolet light which is indicated by a small LED.

The Ultraviolet Sports Pack was one of the entries for the James Dyson Awards. Here’s a video about it:
