The British street artist pokes fun at the film studio behind the series in a dark new clip.

British street artist Banksy has directed and storyboarded the opening ‘couch gag’ segment of The Simpsons.  Airing last night the short clip was reportedly one of the most “closely guarded secrets in TV history”.

In its twenty-second season, The Simpsons has a long history of poking-fun at Twentieth Century Fox and Banksy’s extended segment does not disappoint; depicting the American film studio as a bleak sweatshop-style production line of poverty-stricken workers, churning out Simpsons merchandise.
