A Tactile iPad Game Controller

A Tactile iPad Game Controller

By Naresh Kumar on January 6, 2011

Ten One Design presents Fling, a tactile game controller for the iPad that claims to give better control for games that use a virtual joystick. The device is in the form of a pair of suction cups that stick to the iPad screen and provide gamers with a tactile feel and more precise maneuverability, especially in first-person shooting and role playing games. And don’t worry about it blocking the screen while playing, as Fling is made from a clear material that lets you view the action through it.

It’s an interesting move away from virtualization, that shows another example of how tablets can become the core of various physical devices.
