An Evolving 3D Fractal Landscape [Video]
Tom Beddard, a fractal and generative animator has just completed a new evolving fractal landscape, and is currently working on a WebGL 3D fractal renderer, exploring similar structures in real time (see video). Watch the morphing images as if you’re peering through an atomic kaleidoscope of the universe. All the shapes are the result of a formula designed to produce fractal behaviour that mimics the appearance of natural terrain. Discover more about Tom’s work on his subblue blog.
