Microsoft’s innovative gadget has recently been named the fastest selling consumer electronics device ever.
Kinect for Xbox 360 is officially the fastest selling consumer electronics device of all time, according to Guinness World Records. Microsoft’s motion sensing camera offers a controller-free gaming experience through a natural user interface that detects gestures and verbal commands. The record was previously held by the iPad, for its sales back in October 2010
Kinect was launched in North America on November 4, 2010, and since then, 10 million units have been shipped worldwide.
