2011 NY Auto Show: Paper Audi A7 By Taras Lesko

By Dave Pinter on April 25, 2011

To celebrate the launch of their new 2012 A7 sedan, Audi contracted graphic designer Taras Lesko to produce a scale model of the new car to be displayed at auto shows. The model Lesko produced is made entirely of sheets of heavy weight paper. The model is composed of 750 pieces which Lesko created first designed on a computer. Output to a laser printer and trimmed with a desktop cutting plotter, the final assembly relied on skilled work with an X-ACTO knife and glue. The total project took over 245 hours to complete.

Check out this amazing time-lapse video showing Lesko build the entire model.
