Simple Bookmarklet Identifies Webpage Fonts

By Don Michael Acelar De Leon on April 7, 2011

Suppose you encounter a website typeface that captures your attention but you don’t know what it’s called, can you imagine yourself scouring your entire system library of fonts just to find out?

Thankfully, the WhatFont Bookmarklet saves you the hours of trouble of finding the name of your favorite (but unidentifiable) fonts. Designed by computer science student Chengyin Liu, the bookmarklet immediately identifies a font you hover onto upon activating it.
