Reebok Launch Classic Lite Collection With Light Painting Show [Video]

Light painting is a transformation of traditional street art that uses urban spaces as a background and creates art with different lighting techniques and time exposure camera recording. Reebok’s hub of creativity and collaboration We R Classic launched last month, providing artists with a platform for inspiration and ideas. Three light painters appeared in the first issue of the online magazine, celebrating the launch of Reebok’s Classic Lite Collection and providing a unique performance in downtown Miami.

Pioneer Vicki DaSilva and gifted newcomers Dana Maltby ‘Twin Cities Brightest’ and Darren Pearson ‘Darius Twin’ collaborated and discussed techniques, the light equipment they use and their favorite locations. The video below gives an insight into this innovative combination of graffiti and technology and shows some of the impressive light paintings the group created in Miami.
