A slight variation of the ‘one-for-one’ model popularized by TOMS shoes, every purchase of a Quality Peoples t-shirt funds a day of after-school programming for one child in need living in the rural areas of coastal Mexico.

Having both quit their day job in pursuit of the surf culture and a different lifestyle altogether, co-founders John Esguerra and Ed Fladung moved to Hawaii and Mexico, respectively. Born out of their individual experiences, Quality Peoples is a collection of surf-inspired t-shirts that “takes cues from Mexican folklore and street culture, Hawaiian surf history, timeless men’s style, contemporary art, and the nomadic nature of a life lived in search of waves.”

The brand has partnered with P.E.A.C.E., a nonprofit organization in Nayarit, Mexico.
