A new documentary from the street artist will chart the history of behaving badly in public and attempt to explain why people do it.
After the very successful ‘Exit Through the Gift Shop’ it is not a surprise that Bansky wants to give the documentary format another shot. This time, he is entering the world of television with an hour long special that chronicles the history of people behaving badly in public places which includes vandalism, street art, breaking and entering and political acts. More than just documenting these act, it will also investigate the psychology behind what motivates them. Banksy humorously explains the genesis of the idea explaining,
Basically I just thought it was a good name for a TV program and I’ve been working back from there.
The program will feature the very first interview with the person who Mohawk’d a statue of Winston Churchill and will also feature personalities such as Noel Godin who popularized throwing pies in celebrities’ faces.
The show will be narrated by Kathy Burke and produced by Jaimie D’Cruz of ‘Exit Through the Gift Shop’ fame.
