In a partnership with Japanese breakbeat duo Hifana, music label W+K Tokyo Lab has released a free iPhone app called Fresh Push Play. It’s a sound sampler, sequencer and game, all in one. Users can play along to Hifana tracks or create their own beats by tapping on the 16 beat pads. Since Hifana actually uses the app to make music during live performances, you could be on your way to becoming a producer.
