UK Formula One fans are being given the chance to race against David Coulthard. He will be behind the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG supercar, and his competitors will be using the same car on the same track but on the Playstation 3 racing game Gran Turismo 5.

The prize draw on the website is open until August 22nd and 24 people will be chosen to attend a special day-long event on September 5th at Mercedes-Benz World in Surrey, UK. They will be able to give the real car a spin on the circuits and then those who set the top 6 qualifying times on Gran Turismo 5 will compete against David Coulthard in the final race that same day.

They will race lap for lap, in real-time, on a track that will remain a mystery until the day of the event. All the action will be streamed live for people to watch on the website. The gamer with the fastest time will win an all-expenses paid trip to the Formula One 2011 Brazilian Grand Prix on November 27th.
