Staff At Luxury Retailer Connect To Stocked Inventory Online
British luxury fashion house, Burberry, has equipped sales associates across China with Apple iPads in order to better access online and offline inventory. Using the devices, staff members can order sizes and items that may be out of stock in a particular store and offer products exclusively available on the web. This service provides shoppers with the online convenience of shopping the brand’s full collection, while receiving the same customer service expected from an in-store visit. Burberry plans to expand its in-store iPad experiences across other markets worldwide.
