Soon, McDonald’s customers in the U.S. will be able to watch entertainment, new, sports and video content when they dine-in. The McTV network will be installed in 800 McDonald’s restaurants across Southern California and Las Vegas and could reach nearly 20 million viewers per month.

The in-store channel will be customized depending on the location of the restaurant. It will feature local news, entertainment content from BBC America, and a variety of community-focused content produced by Vimby. Programs will be shown on a one-hour cycle with eight minutes of it dedicated to commercials.

Customers who would rather have some peace and quiet with their burgers and fries can choose to sit in the ‘quiet zones’
