Netflix Lost 800,000 Subscribers In Third Quarter [Headlines]

The on-demand movie and television provider has been losing subscribers since it changed its plans and raised prices in July.

Prior to July, Netflix offered consumers a combined online streaming and mail order DVD subscription for just $9.99. The plan has since been separated, charging subscribers $7.99 for each. Yesterday, stock closed at $115 a share, and was around $90 in after hours trading. Before the plan changes this summer, shares were at $300. Gigaom.
