Nissan To Stage A ‘Design Expo’ In NYC To Debut Taxi Of Tomorrow

By Dave Pinter on October 25, 2011

Earlier this year, Nissan won the NYC Taxi of Tomorrow competition granting the company a contract to exclusively provide New York City with taxicabs for ten years beginning in 2013. Beginning on November 1st, the public will have a chance to see the interior of the vehicle which will soon become a fixture on the streets of Manhattan. Nissan will host the Taxi of Tomorrow Design Expo featuring a full size mockup of the NV200 taxi interior that will demonstrate passenger amenities and features. In addition, Nissan will have a presentation charting the design process of NV200. Nissan is staging the event to give an opportunity to New Yorkers and visitors to see and try out the new cab interior for the first time.
