Take A 360 Degree Video With Your iPhone

By Liz Walsh on October 28, 2011

Your iPhone 4 or iPhone 4s can now take 360 degree panoramic videos.  The GoPano store is selling the lens, which snaps onto the top of your phone and is easily controlled with a swipe or spin, which enables you to easily change the shot as many times as you’d like. The lens captures everything within its view and then enables viewers to navigate through the video with simple swipes across the screen.

A camera like this would be great for a sporting event, but perhaps even better for a concert or music festival, enabling you to simultaneously capture crowds of fans and performers. Our idea? How about the New York City Halloween parade?

The camera comes with a free online membership to help you share and embed videos, as well as a custom designed case for your phone and microfiber bag. It weighs 28 grams and is 47mm in diameter, 82mm in height. Not bad for just under $80.
