Timberland’s Eco-Friendly Pop-Up Shop In The Flatiron District [Headlines]

A new line of green-conscious boots gets there own pop up shop on the crowded streets of NYC.

Timberland has set up a new popup stand adjacent to the Flatiron Building in NYC to promote their Earthkeepers line of boots and shoes which have soles made with recycled plastic bottles. The stand is built from recycled steel and contains 450 pounds of discarded plastic bottles.Reclaimed barn wood, low energy lighting and low emission paints are also integrated into the booth. The Earthkeepers stand will be open through this weekend from 11am till 6pm. It will then travel to San Francisco where it will be set up near Union Square. PSFK
