SheSays Gives Away Digital Creative Secrets

By Paloma M. Vazquez on November 29, 2011

The advertising and marketing industry seemed to collectively adopt the battle cry of ‘collaboration’ this (fast concluding) year. But how much of it was desire, and how much of it was action? SheSays has come up with one way of increasing collaboration, and moving the digital industry forward: giving away its creative secrets.

SheSays will run a one-day course on Digital Creative on December 9th at TheLab in New York City, pulling together a group of award-winning digital creative directors to share the ‘secrets’ they believe in. The course is designed to be very practical and not just pie-in-the-sky theory. It promises to transform participants into doers by having the instructors share insights that can be acted on immediately.

Tickets are available through Eventbrite, but be forewarned, they tend to sell out quickly.

We appreciate the spirit of collaboration and approve of SheSays’ idea of more transparently and openly giving creative practices away, particularly since they’re only as good as their outcome.

Speaking of collaboration, we are particularly hungry to see this enacted by agencies and clients, and would welcome a more open-agenda, collaborative discussion between the two. But we won’t hold our breath for that to take place this year…
