The online video streaming service has pledged $100 million in original content and will work with artists like Jay-Z and news companies like Reuters.

YouTube’s first channel for original programming is targeted at the Hispanic population. This is the first of nearly 100 premium channels it has planned, which will include involvement from celebrities like Jay-Z and Madonna, as well as news sources such as Reuters and The Wall Street Journal.
