Interactive Poetry App Combines Photography And Writing

Seth Carnes is channeling his passion for poetry by creating a new way of making it. His big idea is to merge the usage of pen and ink alongside iPhone photography in an app called ‘iheart poetics.’ Below are a few examples of what the app would be capable of.

Working alongside other poetry enthusiasts like Curating Director of the Booklyn Artist Alliance, Marshall Weber, Carnes describes the logic behind what makes this app valuable to its users:

People understand that language is inherently beautiful. People want to make language their own. iheart poetics gives us a tool, more importantly, a tool that combines image and text. So it’s kind of like having a production studio in your hands.
