Rolling Stone Magazine Launches Wine Club Inspired By Rock Music

By Emma Hutchings on December 14, 2011

Rolling Stone magazine has partnered with Wines That Rock, the creator of unique rock ‘n’ roll inspired wines, for a wine club with a difference. Members are sent three bottles of award-winning wine four times a year for $39.95 per shipment (plus shipping and handling). Each shipment offers a different set of wine, with current featured wines including the Grateful Dead Red Wine Blend, The Rolling Stones Merlot, Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon Cabernet Sauvignon, The Police Synchronicity Red Blend and Woodstock Chardonnay.

These wines are crafted with classic music for a muse and have labels featuring iconic album art. A one-year subscription to Rolling Stone magazine is also included with the initial wine club membership. Howard Jackowitz, the co-founder of Wines That Rock, said:

We’re excited to work with Rolling Stone on this project. We are not a typical wine company, and our products speak directly to Rolling Stone’s core audience. We’re really focused on creating a fun, authentic lifestyle brand, blending wine and music in a way that has never been done before. Rolling Stone is really the perfect partner for us.
