Every 60 Seconds In China [Infographic]

By Piers Fawkes on January 3, 2012

A new visualization shows the volume of tweets, posts, clicks and views that take place every minute. The infographic Chinese site 17Startup created this to demonstrate the vibrancy of the web in China.

The infographic was translated from Chinese into English by Asia tech news site Penn Olson who say:

It shows that insane amounts of money – and a great deal of content – flows from the fingers of Chinese internet users every sixty seconds. The hugest number is the amount of ads that Baidu (NASDAQ:BIDU) serves every minute, and just how much is spent on e-commerce site Taobao.
