New Wireless Scale Automatically Updates Users Stats

New Wireless Scale Automatically Updates Users Stats

By Sam McNerney on January 21, 2012

At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), PSFK caught up on all the new health and wellness technology on offer, including Aria, a Wi-Fi smart scale from FitBit due out in the spring. Aria tracks weight, body fat percentage and body mass index (BMI) over time and wirelessly uploads the information to FitBit.com where users can find graphs and mobile tools to help them reach their health-related goals. The handy device, not too dissimilar to the Wii Fit, automatically recognizes users with a simple hand touch and comes with a free iPhone app.

Aria is one of many new apps designed for customers who are looking for easy ways to track and improve their health with the latest technology.
