Gap Online Catalog Gets Styled By Fashion Bloggers

By Emma Hutchings on February 17, 2012

Styling goes social with the new Styld.by digital catlog developed by AKQA for Gap. Collaborating with fashion bloggers from sites including FabSugar, Refinery29 and Lookbook.nu, items from Gap’s Spring 2012 collection are styled and showcased. Each ‘look’ can be quickly shared or bookmarked on social networks and there are links to Gap’s main site where you can buy the items.

Digital Gap Catalog Showcases Fashion Bloggers

The fashion bloggers team style key pieces from Gap with other items to create an outfit they love and the site includes photos and a short description of the ‘look.’ Buttons to let you share via Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, StumbleUpon and Pinterest are obviously placed for easy access. The goal of Styld.by is to keep updating the content throughout the season, to ensure a fresh and constant stream of inspiration for visitors.
