Artists Hack E-Trash To Create A Multimedia Installation [Video]

ReFunct Media is a collaborative project that reuses old electronic devices by remodeling them and combining them.

ReFunct Media v4.0 is a collaborative project created by Benjamin Gaulon, Karl Klomp, Tom Verbruggen, Gijs Gieskes (and special guest Niklas Roy), for the show ReFunct Media #4 at LEAP (Lab for Electronic Arts and Performance, Berlin). The multimedia installation reuses and hacks old electronic devices, combining the trash into a long, complex chain of elements.

As an installation it experiments and explores unchallenged possibilities of ‘obsolete’ electronic and digital media technologies and our relationship with technologies and consumption.
