A group of 25 graffiti gurus from eight countries are reclaiming outdoor ad space to show the destructive power of that industry.
As part of the Brandalism project, a group of 25 street artists from eight countries, came together to ‘reclaim’ outdoor advertising spaces. The group is planning to ‘hijack’ 50 large-scale billboards within the U.K and use the space to communicate “the destructive impacts of advertising industry.”
Already, as many as 35 outdoor billboards have been painted over with powerful visuals and words. Some of the artists involved in the project include OX, Jordan Seiler, Ron English, Paul Insect, and Know Hope.
