Defend the Flame is an Olympic-themed site that allow users to virtually keep the Olympic torch burning with simple tweets. Designed by Singapore agency Wunderman & Comwerks, the “social flame” reacts to tweets with the hashtag #keepitburning. With more tweets and clicks, the flame will continue to burn endlessly.

The site also features the real-time weather conditions in London so visitors can see that even though the real torch might be drizzled on by the rainy weather, the virtual flame can never be put out. Watch a video below of this “social flame” in action.
