The hotel chain ibis is offering guests a unique experience that combines technology and art. A mattress embedded with 80 sensors transmits data about patron’s temperature, movements and sound while they sleep. A robot then transforms these signals into brush strokes live throughout the night to create a work of ‘Sleep Art’.

40 people will have the opportunity to take part and those interested can apply on Facebook. If selected, they will receive a copy of the artwork crafted from their sleep pattern. The Sleep Art experience will be available in three cities in Europe, starting with Paris (October 13-23), then Berlin (November 1-11) and London (November 19-23).
