A startup in Finland has created a ‘world marking’ app called ‘Grafetee‘ that allows businesses to easily reach mobile users with relevant location-based information. Grafetee users can bookmark a specific address or even website to receive relevant details based on their geolocation. Not only is it easier to browse through near-by stores and services on Grafetee, but the app also displays time-sensitive information such as sales, promotions, special exhibitions, and events.

Grafetee recognizes addresses and content on any website, including TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb, and Zillow. However, it’s not just a travel app, as it works with any business with a physical address. Grafetee is already being utlized by the National Police of Finland as a public safety tool, and could also be used as a citizen journalism platform.
