Scentsicles and Balsam Hill teamed up with Made Movement and digital agency Deeplocal to create the “first-ever global Christmas tree decorating party.” Communitree is an online hangout that allows users to login with their Facebook account and help decorate an actual Christmas tree by controlling a robotic arm virtually.
With every ornament successfully placed on the tree, the two companies will donate $5 to Toys for Tots. So far 632 people have participated and the organization has helped to raise $7,750. Watch the video below to see the comical advertisement for Communitree.
