The retailer has teamed up with Sean John and Recom Group to create a fleece that has an OLED display on the sleeve.
Macy’s, Sean John and Recom Group have collaborated to create a sweater with an embedded video screen on the sleeve. The grey shawl collar fleece sweater has a windowed pouch that holds a ‘Fashion Video Name Tag’ device. This 2.8″ OLED display offers continuous play of customized downloaded video content. It has a 320 x 240 resolution, up to ten hours of battery life, and 2GB of onboard memory for storing videos.
The sweater is being introduced exclusively in select Macy’s stores this week. Recom Group’s CEO, Rob Norden, says of this combination of technology and fashion:
