Macy’s, Sean John and Recom Group have collaborated to create a sweater with an embedded video screen on the sleeve. The grey shawl collar fleece sweater has a windowed pouch that holds a ‘Fashion Video Name Tag’ device. This 2.8″ OLED display offers continuous play of customized downloaded video content. It has a 320 x 240 resolution, up to ten hours of battery life, and 2GB of onboard memory for storing videos.

The sweater is being introduced exclusively in select Macy’s stores this week. Recom Group’s CEO, Rob Norden, says of this combination of technology and fashion:

Our technology allows us to put video screens just about anywhere. Video screens are an integral part of our lives from our phones to our homes. Clothing was a natural extension. We love what Sean John has created to embrace this new fashion accessory.
