Panasonic in Japan has created the Any Battery Light, which is a flashlight that works with different-sized batteries. The gadget was created to tackle the problem of finding the right batteries in an emergency event. The light features a rotating power switch where the user can choose which battery to use.

The Any Battery Light accepts AAA, AA, C or D-sized batteries, which all can be used at the same time. The light is dimmer when the user is only relying on a single AAA, but it’s still bright enough to get around.

Panasonic created the device as a result of the earthquake and tsunami disaster that hit the coasts of Japan last year. The emergency flashlight comes in the two colors, red and white.
