New luxury hotel the Sheraton Huzhou Hot Spring Resort in the eastern Zhejiang province in China was designed by Ma Yansong from MAD architects. The horse-shoe shaped hotel is located next to Lake Tai and covers 75 acres.
It is 330 ft tall, with layered floors that rise up to create its unique shape. The Sheraton Huzhou Hot Spring Resort is covered in LED lights that are switched on every night to give the guests and those in the surrounding area a light show.
Each room in the hotel has a good view of the lake and receives plenty of natural light. When it gets dark and the LEDs light up, the colorful patterns on the hotel’s exterior are reflected off the surface of the lake below to create a stunning show.
