Indonesian-based digital agency XM Gravity has launched an in-house mobile app that aims to improve staff’s mood and strengthen their bond. The XM Gravity Happiness App has four different features: Mood, News, Task, and Contact.
Users can express their feelings each day by picking from a wide range of mood selections. Those who consistently choose negative emotions are approached by their supervisors for a chat to try to solve their issue.
The app also conveniently provides company news, updates, and announcements. Employees can assist clients by supporting their ongoing campaigns with re-tweets, Likes, or sharing posts on the brands’ social media pages. The Contact page contains a list of each person’s phone number, email address, and social media accounts.
The XM Gravity Happiness App operates on iOS, Android, and BlackBerry. Staff are encouraged to participate, with active users rewarded by points and the chance to win prizes each month. XM Gravity’s CEO, Kevin Mintaraga, said:
As a digital agency, we help our clients leverage technology and social media every day to meet their business goals. This time, we’re leveraging that know-how to help us achieve our own goals. Happy staff who feel connected, and cared for, are committed staff who give their best… Since XM Gravity was established, one of my main goals has been to promote a family culture among us. Family means everybody is heard, and everybody is taken care of. That way, they would be happy, which would eventually lead to a great performance in their work. So, the Happiness App serves as a sort of heart check up on everyone in the company.
