There’s a new service in New York that hopes to make things more convenient for busy city-dwellers and maybe even replace the traditional building doorman.

The Clean Cube is a service that lets building residents drop off their laundry, clothes for donation, or items for storage into a set of lockers or “cubes” that are set up in their building lobby.

The service will take care of sending off the laundry to their dry cleaning and laundry service, the old clothes to Goodwill, and the seasonal storage to their secure storage facility. The clean laundry will then be returned to the appropriate locker for pick-up by the customer later on. Customers will receive an itemized receipt for the services.

Right now the company only covers dry cleaning, laundry, clothing donation, and off-site storage, but it hopes to add grocery and packages delivery to its menu of services. Customers can order online and have it sent to their Clean Cube.

The service is currently being tested in an apartment building in New York City.
